| Suunto sets hearts racing |

Suunto has announced its new Fitness Solution, which promises to bring a new dimension to fitness club training.
It offers a personalised workout experience to fitness club members, said to lead to more effective results and higher overall satisfaction. The new system is designed for daily use in group exercise and cardio training environments.
The Suunto system shows up to 72 participants' heart rates simultaneously in real-time in the class, either through a PC in front of the instructor or on the class wall.
The colour-coded training zones – light blue for low heart rates, green for medium and red for high – inform the instructor on individuals' fitness levels. Based on this information, the instructor is able to guide and inspire their class members and adjust the session accordingly.
At the end of each class, the Solution automatically generates members' personal performance reports with summary data.
The reports are then automatically sent to each participant via email. At the same time, the system creates a group report for the instructor, helping him/her plan their next class.
The Suunto Fitness Solution gives clubs the opportunity to be in regular contact with its members through its performance report e-mails.
This increases the interaction between instructors and members, offering not only individually optimized workouts and more effective results but also increasing the commitment to the fitness club.
