Body Bike and Gym 80 have launched a range of co-branded bikes which are available in four different models and price points: Classic, Supreme, Connect and Smart+.
Connect is Body Bike’s first iteration and this entry level model is available in one colour; Supreme comes entirely protected by a plastic case for improved longevity and has 11 different colour options; Connect is similar, but features a console to deliver workout data; and Smart+, the latest model, connects to the Body Bike app, sending all metrics direct to the user’s smartphone. An onboard generator means that their mobile can also charge while pedalling.
“The new Gym 80 Body Bike unites two like-minded brands,” said Kriss Tottman, UK commercial director at Gym 80. “As demand grows for world-class indoor cycling, we’ve taken the decision to partner intelligently, which means choosing strategic partners whose vision and values align with our own – Body Bike is definitely that partner.”
The bikes are handmade and manufactured in-house in Denmark, and will be available in the UK, Spain, Portugal, South Africa and the GCC. Other European and African markets, as well as Asia and the US, will follow at a later date.
“Cardio is not our forte, so it is fantastic to be able to offer our customers a world-class product like Body Bike where the exceptional quality meets our own exacting standards,” added Tottman.
Prices start at £1,100 for the Classic up to £1,900 for Smart+. Orders should be placed with Kriss Tottman at Gym 80 and deliveries will follow in two to three weeks.
