Spivi, an industry leader in interactive displays, leaderboards, gamification and performance tracking for gyms and fitness facilities, has released a new update to its platform.
The upgrade revealed new smartwatch connectivity, allowing club members to utilise their existing wearables, including the Apple Watch, the Samsung Watch and Wear OS 3.0 compatible smartwatches.
Spivi is an immersive fitness gamification platform proven to increase retention and reduce churn. It tracks performance data and gamifies the members’ fitness journey using leaderboards, data and visuals to strengthen engagement and brand loyalty.
The platform harnesses the natural human willingness for improvement and the encouraging environment of group fitness to boost engagement, increase retention and build community. Spivi will demonstrate the new capabilities at the annual fitness industry convention, IHRSA 2023, this month in San Diego, California.
Shay Amir, CEO at Spivi and a member of the Forbes Business Council, said: “Letting members use their wearables and smartwatches will help many operators ease the onboarding process and enhance engagement.
“Spivi provides the most comprehensive and gamified solution for gyms and studios.” “The technology we use allows club members of all ages to take an active part in an ongoing gamified experience created by their fitness instructors and orchestrated by Spiv,” said Nir Hasson, CTO at Spivi.
“The Spivi platform encourages members to take part in competitions at their gym, to reach personal milestones and beat their previous results and be part of a group competing with other gyms.”
