Technogym has become one of the largest providers of Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) Stage 2 Accredited equipment, with 15 models now certified.
Four products are included from the Excite range, with both the RUN IFI 500 and 700 models both offering tactile raised buttons along with an easy access step and high visibility belt markings.
The Excite BIKE IFI 500 & 700 editions come with a fully integrated tactile console to help/support visually impaired users, as do the RECLINE 500 and 700, which also feature single-handed adjustment.
Meanwhile, the Excite TOP IFI 700 (pictured) is designed to include an adapted seat to assist wheelchair users in addition to single-handed adjustment to both the seat and telescopic arms.
The Element+ Strength IFI Range provides high visibility tactile numbering and adjustments as well as swing-away seats, easy access steps and single-handed push/pull mechanisms.
Kate Fearon, UK product manager for Technogym says: "We are proud to achieve the IFI Stage 2 Accreditation across such a large cross section of our products. This is vitally important to Technogym as a business and further helps us support our clients in achieving the standards required by operators both in the public and private sector."
