Body Fit Training (BFT), part of Xponential Fitness, is launching its first London franchise at Queen's Circus Battersea in February 2023
BFT’s first UK franchise launched in Leicester in September 2022 and there are plans to open more studios across South West London
BFT was founded by Cameron Falloon in 2017. It was acquired by Xponential Fitness in 2021 for US$44m
Falloon is aiming to expand BFT to 150 locations across the UK
Xponential Fitness will open its first Body Fit Training (BFT) franchise in London in February in Queen's Circus, half a mile from the new Battersea Power Station development, which will be home to Third Space, Boom Cycle and BMF when complete.

The BFT studio will be led by personal trainer Charlie Hendrie and – as is standard with the BFT format – will provide 50-minute functional, strength, cardio and conditioning-based classes across 13 workout programmes.

“We believe BFT offers something very different from other boutique fitness studios," Hendrie told HCM. "We'll make it our goal to create an exciting new fitness community of people who are inspired and truly get the results they desire.”

BFT’s first UK club launched in Leicester in September 2022 and founder, Cameron Falloon, says current demand indicates the company could reach 150 locations within a few years.

BFT combines cardio with resistance programmes to train different energy systems every session. It uses bespoke technology, including a heart rate monitoring system, to track members’ progress.

“Through our scientifically proven training techniques and highly accredited team of coaches, we aim to provide the perfect environment for the community of Battersea to achieve their fitness goals,” said Hendrie. “We thrive on building an environment where people can build friendships and have fun while working out.”

Body Fit Training was founded by Falloon in 2017. It was acquired by Xponential Fitness in October 2021 for US$44m, boosting the Xponential estate to over 2,600 locations globally.

Xponential then entered into a Master Franchise Agreement with Falloon and his business partner Richard Burnet for the original franchised clubs, as well as 150 that were set to open across the Asia Pacific region and the UK. Falloon stepped back from his joint CEO role in 2022 when David Aitchison was appointed to be CEO.

BFT currently has 230 studios and 50,000+ members across locations in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, USA, Canada and the UK.
