Studio operator Frame launches training course for boutiques
POSTED 29 Oct 2018 . BY Tom Walker
The course is designed to highlight the impact a group instructor can have on the lives of their clients
Fitness studio operator Frame has launched a training course designed to meet the demands of instructors working at boutique studios.

The Studio Fitness Instructing course has been endorsed by YMCA Awards and will lead to a full "group exerciser" qualification.

Delivered by Frame Academy – the operator's teacher training arm – will focus on assisting and adjusting exercisers, communication skills and developing the emotional intelligence of instructors.

According to Frame founder Joan Murphy, many of the training courses currently available "do not reflect the needs of the boutique industry".

"The course is designed to highlight the impact a group instructor can have on the lives of their participants," Murphy said.

"We focus on observation skills and equip our learners and instructors with the skills they need to develop class participants.

"We also focus on pre and post-natal instruction and how needs and demands vary through each trimester, something which is missed in many group exercise and exercise to music courses."

Frame currently operates six studios in London, offering personal training and classes ranging from yoga and dance to pilates and barre.
