Les Mills teams up with Lifetime Training for group ex qualifications

The companies want to raise standards across group exercise and fitness instructor training in England
Lifetime Training and Les Mills have announced a new partnership aiming to raise standards across group exercise and fitness instructor training in England.
The education partnership has been designed to provide aspiring fitness professionals with a unique package combining Fitness Instructing, Exercise to Music and Les Mills qualifications.
By enhancing its Les Mills certification with the addition of Les Mills Advanced Instructor Modules, Lifetime says it aims to feed the fitness industry with a flow of highly qualified instructors, fostering new talent and enhancing fitness professionals' skills.
“Our goal is to provide fitness professionals with an education experience to set them up for future success in the industry,” said Mike Jones, commercial director at Lifetime Training.
“By aligning our innovative training with Les Mills, the gold standard in group exercise training, we have created an accessible and affordable learning experience to truly raise the bar in group exercise and fitness instructor training.”
Dr Cedric Bryant takes up the new position on 1 July, following on from Scott Goudeseune who
has been ACE CEO for more than 15 years, overseeing significant growth.
Improving physical strength and fitness, mental health and confidence are the main reasons
for joining a health club, while cost, time and motivation are the main reasons for leaving.
Planet Fitness has announced the repurchase of 314,000 shares at a rate of US$20
million. The
Class A common stocks were repurchased and retired, using cash.
Complaints about group exercise have become a thing of the past for the Reynolds Group
thanks to its partnership with CoverMe, a digital platform that simplifies group exercise
