BMF rounds off year with double appointment
POSTED 05 Dec 2014 . BY Jak Phillips
New head of events Alex Stanley joins from sports management firm IMG
British Military Fitness (BMF) has added to its growing ranks with the recent appointments of new human resources head, Gilles Paoli, and Alex Stanley as head of events.

The new appointments at BMF – which celebrated its 15th anniversary this year – follow the recent relocation of its head office to Power Road Studios in Chiswick, London.

Paoli, originally from France, brings a wealth of experience, having worked in HR for both the public and private sector. He has lived in London for 16 years, holds a Level 3 Qualification in Personal Training and loves outdoor workouts.

Meanwhile Stanley – a sports enthusiast from South London – joins from sports management firm IMG, where he managed large-scale events including Run to the Beat, UK Challenge, Virgin Active London Triathlon and The Colour Run.

“The appointments of Gilles and Alex are fantastic wins for BMF,” said BMF managing director Rob Love.

“They both come with a plethora of knowledge and experience in their respected fields and what’s more, they are both health and fitness enthusiasts. We might even call on Gilles to remove his HR hat and teach a few BMF classes!”
