Entry deadline nears for Health Club Awards 2012
POSTED 19 Jan 2012 . BY Tom Walker
With more than 400 clubs already signed up, fitness staff across the country are preparing for the start of voting for the second annual Members Choice Health Club Awards sponsored by Centrum Performance.

There's still time to make sure your club doesn't miss out on the excitement generated when almost 1 million gym users are given the chance to rate their club on service levels, facilities and value for money.

Simon Brown, MD of the Members Choice Health Club Awards said: "We know from clubs who entered last year that they received a tremendous response from members.

"The competition not only increased interaction between staff and customers, building on the momentum clubs had generated at the start of the year, but also provided some valuable member feedback."

The competition is open to all health clubs, gyms and local leisure centres who will compete individually in 14 regions around the UK.

Additionally clubs that are part of a chain can enter national categories for best small, medium and national chains.

New for 2012 are the best budget chain category and the individual award which will recognise the efforts of fitness staff nominated by customers. The winners will again be announced at a glittering awards ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham on September 18th during Leisure Industry Week (LIW).

The Members Choice Health Club Awards are free to enter, the deadline for clubs to enter is 25th January. Voting will go live on 1st February and close on 30th April 2012. For more info, click here to visit www.healthclubawards.co.uk
