Budget gym operator Pure Gym is preparing to open its fourth club in Wolverhampton.
The 15,000sq ft (1.400sq m) club has 170 exercise stations provided by Matrix Fitness and follows previous openings in Edinburgh, Leeds and Manchester.
All Pure Gyms will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and offer memberships from £12.99 a month. The Wolverhmapton club will be managed by Stephen Clarke.
Peter Roberts, chief executive of Pure Gym: "In the current economic climate, people from all walks of life are watching their budgets and we are offering packages to customers at competitive and affordable prices, with the added bonus of 24 hour access, seven days a week.
"Many people commit to costly subscriptions that cover facilities they never use, but we are keeping things simple with the focus on top-of-the range cardiovascular and fitness machines and the opportunity to work with highly trained personal trainers for added motivation.
"Similar gym concepts have been hugely popular overseas in countries such as Germany and the States and we believe Pure Gym will be very popular throughout the UK.
Roberts is a former director of the Luminar Leisure group.
