Life Time plans $200m IPO

Life Time Fitness has filed for a $200m (£113m) initial public offering with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company operates large sports, fitness and family recreation centres and has 33 sites in eight states.

The company has also expanded into other health and wellness businesses including a health and lifestyle magazine and a range of nutritional products.
