Investors, operators and startups are invited to apply for a limited number of slots to do elevator pitches

The inaugural HCM Invest event has opened applications for pitching slots ahead of its launch in London on 21 October 2026.

The event will bring together companies seeking investment and investors looking for opportunities across the global fitness, health and wellness sector, giving both groups the opportunity to pitch from the stage.

Designed to connect businesses with investors seeking opportunities, HCM Invest is an invitation-only gathering of investors, entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

The event will bring together private equity houses, venture capital firms, lenders and strategic investors with founders, operators and start-ups who are scaling businesses and seeking growth capital and expertise.

The programme for the day will also include keynote presentations, high-level networking and the opportunity for one-to-one meetings, creating a forum for investment, collaboration and deal-making across the sector.

“HCM Invest has been created to unlock growth by connecting the innovators shaping the future of fitness, health and wellness with the investors and advisers who can help them grow,” says Liz Terry, CEO of Leisure Media and editor of HCM magazine

“The sector is entering a new era as it becomes increasingly aligned with wellness, prevention, longevity and healthcare, creating opportunities for growth and investment on a scale we haven’t experienced before.

“At the same time, we’re seeing exceptional levels of innovation from operators, suppliers and entrepreneurs who are developing new models, technologies and solutions to support healthier lives.

“HCM Invest will create a trusted environment where these conversations can happen – connecting high-potential businesses with investors and advisers who understand the opportunity and have the ability to support their next stage of growth."

HCM Invest will form part of the wider HCM Summit experience, bringing the investment community together with HCM Summit’s established network of global operators, suppliers and thought leaders.

Attendance at HCM Invest on 21 October will be by invitation only and reserved for industry leaders and qualifying delegates who are registered for the HCM Summit on 22 October, ensuring a senior, curated audience and creating opportunities for meaningful connections.

The event will be hosted by HCM magazine, Spa Business magazine and EGYM and will take place at EGYM HQ in Paternoster Square, London, situated between the London Stock Exchange and St Paul's Cathedral.

Philipp Roesch-Schlanderer, CEO of EGYM, said: "The health and wellness sector is at an inflection point. We're shifting from repair to prevention and that shift requires capital to flow to the founders and operators who understand the moment.

"Investors and founders in this space have been lacking a way to connect on this specific opportunity and HCM Invest solves that problem by creating a forum that brings together investors, entrepreneurs and industry leaders.

"At EGYM, my rule has always been simple: back founders I trust when they're building something that should exist.

"The future of health will be built by people we haven't met yet and backed by investors who see where it's headed. That's what HCM Invest is really about."

Terry said: “We’re now inviting investors and companies seeking funding to put themselves forward for one of our pitching slots by going to www.HCMInvest.live.

"If successful, they'll have the opportunity to secure a ticket to HCM Invest, ten minutes on stage to do an elevator pitch and take questions, the chance to conduct follow-up meetings and a delegate place at the HCM Summit the following day."
