Hyrox is scaling up its charity work
It has renewed its partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and announced another partnership with Race for Impact
Athletes will be able to access sold-out races if they raise target amounts for the charities

Hyrox has announced it will be working with a second charity in the upcoming season and offering charity spots in sold-out races.

Its chosen charities are Macmillan Cancer Support along with a new partnership in the UK – High Impact Athletes (HIA), through the Race for Impact initiative. This funds independently vetted charities tackling some of the world's biggest challenges, across mental health, global health, women's empowerment, animal welfare and climate solutions.

The ticketing process will give athletes the option to race through either charity, giving athletes the chance to secure a spot in a typically sold-out fitness race. The minimum fundraising targets in order to race are £400 for singles; £800 for doubles and £1200 for the relay.

To date, the Hyrox community has raised more than £9.5 million for Macmillan, which is enough to support the three frontline teams on the Macmillan Support Line for almost ten months.

Race for Impact is a global movement that turns fitness into a force for good. It works with independent evaluators to find the highest-performing charities in each cause area and racers choose the cause they race for.

Moritz Fürste, co-founder and chief marketing officer at Hyrox says: “Hyrox is rooted in community, and our charity partners are a huge part of that. Extending our journey with Macmillan Cancer Support was a natural next step, given the incredible effect it has across the UK.

“By bringing Race for Impact into this, we’re expanding that reach even further, giving participants the opportunity to support the causes that matter most to them. Whether it’s helping someone living with cancer in their local community or tackling climate change and poverty on a global scale, this is just the beginning of a movement that goes beyond sport.”
