US budget chain, EoS Fitness, is entering the reformer Pilates market
Three-sites will be piloted this summer, with a widespread rollout next year
Three exclusive class formats will be offered, alongside the US debut of the new Les Mills Reformer class
Joella Hopkins of EoS Fitness says this modality has been out of reach for everyday gym-goers
US high-value, low-price chain, Eos Fitness, has announced plans to pilot reformer Pilates in three locations this year.
Three EoS-exclusive class formats will be introduced, as well as the new Les Mills Reformer class, making EoS the first operator to bring the format to the US.
Joella Hopkins, executive vice president of group fitness at EoS Fitness, says the company is democratising this popular, but expensive, modality: "Reformer Pilates has often been out of reach for everyday gym-goers, and we’re changing that.
“We’re truly redefining what reformer Pilates can look like in the gym and creating a more dynamic, high-energy experience. The best part is there’s something for everyone, from first-timers discovering reformer Pilates to seasoned members ready to level up their workouts."
The classes will be held in boutique-style settings with intentional lighting and layout. Each class features experienced instructors offering real-time guidance and personalised modifications.
The class formats are Re:Form Re:Fine – a precision-based class rooted in the classic Pilates principles of alignment, control and intentional movement to strengthen deep core muscles, improve posture and enhance flexibility.
Re:Form Re:Mix blends reformer work with off-equipment strength training for a total body workout.
Re:Form Re:Build mixes in athletic, performance-driven movement with faster transitions, rapid-fire sequences and strength-focused challenges that push endurance, coordination and control.
Les Mills Reformer provides low-impact sculpt training, choreographed to the beat and instructor-led.
Launching this summer, the three EoS Fitness locations are in Las Vegas; Tempe, Arizona and Houston, Texas. Additional locations will be rolled out next year.
It will be available as part of Will Crush and Will Power memberships.
EoS Fitness has more than 225 gyms with membership options starting at US$9.99 per month.
