The launch follows recent openings in Chiswick and Manchester ahead of a Dublin debut
Everlast Gyms' York site has reopened following a refurbishment to bring it up to the company’s elevated gyms status.
Owned by Frasers Group, Everlast Gyms is working through its 60-gym portfolio to bring them in line with its latest standard. “Our target is to get the whole estate elevated within the next two years,” managing director, Dan Summerson, told HCM in a recent interview.
A Hyrox Performance Center; a 12-bed reformer Pilates studio and a recovery zone featuring a sauna, steamroom and 20 metre swimming pool, are now on offer at the 25,000 square foot facility.
As part of the ongoing partnership, a Myprotein Kitchen has opened, serving freshly blended smoothies and a curated selection of nutrition.
Three different memberships are offered – Core, Champion and Champion Plus – giving members the choice of price points and services they wish to access.
Summerson says: “We’re committed to creating spaces that reflect the needs of modern gym-goers. Members are looking for more than just great equipment from their gym experience. They want spaces that help them train more effectively, recover more efficiently, and feel like part of something bigger.
“By bringing together concepts such as Hyrox, reformer Pilates and recovery under one roof, we’re continuing to evolve the Everlast Gyms+ proposition and make premium fitness experiences more accessible across the UK."
