Fiit and Hussle join forces
POSTED 27 Nov 2019 . BY Tom Walker
Fiit offers on-demand classes across three disciplines
On-demand fitness app Fiit has partnered with fitness marketplace Hussle, giving Hussle users access to its catalogue of workouts.

Fiit offers on-demand classes across three disciplines – cardio, strength and balance – with guidance from a selection of PTs. It also runs Fiit Club, which allows users to exercise at home and compete against each other, no matter what their personal fitness levels.

The partnership is set to benefit Hussle members who work out at different gyms across the country – but aren’t able to access club-based personal training services.

For Fiit customers, the collaboration means having access to Hussle's network of 3,000 gyms, health clubs and spas, introducing an in-club experience to supplement the app-led content they receive.

"Working with Fiit is the perfect partnership for Hussle in terms of engaging the Gen Z and Millennial audience we target for our fitness operator partners," said Lawrence King, head of commercial partnerships at Hussle.

"The way in which people consume fitness has irreversibly changed and we believe collaborations with market-leading content producers like Fiit are a great way to increase overall participation, especially across younger demographics."

Ian McCaig, co-founder of Fiit, added: "Our mission at Fiit is to make exercise a habit for everybody, so we're excited to partner with Hussle whose national network of gyms and health clubs provides customers with access to fitness facilities wherever they need them.

"We believe providing gym-goers with digital access to 25 of the most in-demand personal trainers is the next frontier for the gym of the future. Whether someone is looking to do HIIT, strength training or Yoga, with over 400 classes available, the Fiit app has them covered."

Hussle - formerly called PayAsUGym – was first launched in 2011. It currently has nearly 3,000 gyms and health clubs in its network, which includes a number of major operators, including Nuffield Health, Bannatyne Health Clubs, SLM and Places for People Leisure.

Fiit was co-founded by a team of ex-Google employees and Qubit founders.
