Fitness and sports training operator Athletic Republic has announced aggressive expansion plans for the US market.
The company, which specialises in sports performance training, is looking to add 100 locations nationwide by 2021 and is targeting southern US cities such as Dallas, Atlanta and Miami, as well as areas throughout California.
First launched in 1990, Athletic Republic has grown rapidly since it began offering franchise licenses in 2006. There are currently 115 Athletic Republic-branded sites in the US.
The company is headed by CEO Charlie Graves – a former professional swimmer and triathlete. "People will always want to win," he said
"Our mission at Athletic Republic is to help competitive athletes improve their skills to make winning possible. Offering intense, individualised, sport-specific training, we're equally dedicated to performance improvement for the bottom line and success of our franchisees."
