Swimming Nature and Future Fit Training to develop kitemark
POSTED 19 Dec 2016 . BY Deven Pamben
Swimming Nature and Future Fit Training have been working together to raise standards
Swimming Nature, an independent provider of personal swimming lessons, is working with Future Fit Training to produce a quality assurance kitemark for its training courses.

The two organisations have been working together over the past year to raise standards and develop quality assured training and skills development for swimming teachers.

Future Fit Training, a training provider, has helped create a new professional development mentoring programme for all Swimming Nature teachers so staff are kept continually up-to-date with latest regulations and processes.

The kitemark will be a seal of approval for training, ensuring independent quality assurance across the board.

Swimming Nature instructors only teach in either small groups or one-to-one environments to maximise teaching contact time.

Eduardo Ferré, Swimming Nature founder and chief executive, said: “As the largest independent provider of personalised swimming tuition, we want to ensure all of our staff are trained to the highest standard possible, which is why we chose to work with Future Fit Training to develop a kitemark for quality assured swimming instruction and training for our staff.

“By ensuring our staff are all trained to the highest standard, we hope to raise standards across the industry and engage more people in the enjoyment of swimming.”

Rob Johnson, Future Fit Training managing director, said: “We were only too pleased to work with Swimming Nature to help fulfil their goal of offering quality assured training to their instructors and, in turn, top quality teaching to their customers. Having a kitemark for swimming instruction is a great initiative and we are looking forward to supporting Swimming Nature to implement this.”
