Raffles Suzhou announced for 2020

Raffles will bring its luxury hotel brand to the ancient city of Suzhou, China, in 2020. Developed by Jiangsu Golden Land, the hotel will include 150 bedrooms in the new super high-rise Keyne International Suzhou mixed-use development, and will include a “state-of-the-art” Raffles Spa.

“Suzhou represents a very exciting opportunity for the Raffles brand,” said Peter French, president of Raffles Hotels & Resorts. “As one of China’s leading economic centres, with a growing arts and cultural scene, the city is quickly establishing itself as a very popular regional travel destination.”

Raffles Suzhou will be located in the Suzhou New District Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, a specially-designated zone with a focus on science and technology research and the development of high-tech industries. It will also include a limited selection of Raffles Residences.

Raffles is also scheduled to open a location in Shenzhen in 2019.
