LiveWire leads £1m functional fitness facelift of Warrington gyms
POSTED 15 Jan 2016 . BY Jak Phillips
All four sites are now offering members a new timetable of short 20-minute functional workouts on the gym floor
Operator LiveWire has kicked off the new year with the unveiling of four upgraded fitness suites at its leisure centres and neighbourhood hubs across Warrington – part of a £1m project to offer more functional fitness.

Birchwood Tennis & Leisure Complex, Broomfields Leisure Centre, Woolston Neighbourhood Hub and Culcheth Community Campus have all been given a new layout and design to provide more space for functional training. All four sites are now offering members a new timetable of short 20-minute functional workouts on the gym floor.

In addition, the gyms have received a range of new Technogym cardio equipment, which is fitted with mywellness cloud to serve as a central hub for members to monitor their training progress.

LiveWire also plans to install the same range of equipment at its brand new fitness suite as part of the £16m Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub development and at its flagship site, Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub.

“It was important for LiveWire to make this investment in our fitness suites to provide our customers with the latest technology to help improve their fitness and wellbeing,” said Vicki Dunning, strategic lead for facilities at LiveWire.

“The gyms look fantastic and we hope all our new and existing members enjoy using the facilities.”
