Hard Rock International will open a 220-bedroom hotel in Atlanta, US, in spring 2018, located next to the upcoming Mercedes-Benz Stadium – future home of the Atlanta Falcons.

Designed by Atlanta-based architects Gensler, the hotel will feature a Rock Spa that will include the brand’s signature music-infused spa treatments, Rhythm and Motion, which utilises amplified vibrations, pressures and patterns.

Rhythm and Motion features bass vibrations that ripple through the massage table, while treble beats come from above, and therapists synchronise their movements with a curated playlist.

Treatments include Synchronicity, a pulsating massage paired with hits from yesterday and today; Smooth Operator, a two-part treatment that features dry brushing and a detoxifying wrap; Face the Music, a sound vibration facial; and Wrap Remix, which includes dry brushing, massage and facial mask.

Hard Rock has also partnered with Spanish hotel chain Palladium Hotel Group to create its second Hard Rock European property on the Spanish island of Tenerife, due to open in late 2016.

The resort is a total renovation of Palladium’s Fiesta Hotel Playa Paraiso complex, and includes 624 bedrooms, three swimming pools and a Rock Spa, which also will feature Rhythm and Motion treatments. The property includes a steamroom, ice bath and 920sq m (9,902sq ft) indoor and 650sq m (6,997sq ft) outdoor thermal water areas.

A kids club, six restaurants, saltwater lagoon, live music venue and a 620sq m (6,674 sq ft) convention centre also feature at the Tenerife destination.
