Fitness First Middle East reaches 60 sites
POSTED 29 Sep 2015 . BY Kath Hudson
Fitness First has opened a men only club in Dubai
Fitness First is gearing up to launch its 33rd club in the UAE in the coming weeks, on Palm Jumeirah’s Golden Mile.

The platinum 1,900sq m club is part of the company’s aggressive regional expansion, bringing its estate in the Middle East to more than 60.

The gym will feature a Synergy 360 training system as well as freestyle products such as battle ropes, Bulgarian bags, ViPR and TRX frames, as well as cardio equipment, free weights and plate-loaded equipment from Life Fitness.

There will also be group exercise, indoor cycling and multipurpose studios, as well as a dedicated outdoor functional training area for workouts and group classes.

Other services and facilities include a Core Juice Bar, luxurious changing rooms with saunas and a relaxation area, as well as a members’ only lounge with wifi and complementary drinks.

This club follows hot on the heels of the launch of Fitness First’s inaugural men-only club in Dubai, at the Ayla Hotel in Al Ain in August.

The 1,450sq m premium club features a FitZone furnished with the new Insignia line of strength equipment from Life Fitness, as well as plate-loaded equipment, Hammer Strength and functional training equipment. There are also changing rooms, saunas, a relaxation area and a members’ lounge with wifi and complementary drinks.

Fitness First Middle East COO, George Flooks, says the men-only club has been introduced to complement the existing ladies-only club at Hili Mall. “We believe that liberty to exercise for a fit life is for everyone,” he said.

“In response to growing demand for integrated fitness solutions in the region, we endeavour to roll out additional clubs and shall expand our regional footprint and offering in strategic locations.”
