Beyoncé and her trainer Marcos Borges have co-founded a vegan meal delivery programme.

After participating in the vegan 22 Days Nutrition Challenge with her husband Jay Z in 2013, Beyoncé has teamed up with her personal trainer to create ‘reasonably priced’ vegan meals that will be delivered to customers wanting to lose weight, save time in the kitchen or experience a new way of eating – according to the service’s website.

The entirely plant-based fresh meals range in price from US$9.76 (€8.55, £6.35) to US$16.50 (€14.45, £10.73).

“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example,” said Beyoncé in a statement. “He came up with a great programme to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I’m excited to partner with him.”

In October 2014, Beyoncé teamed up with fashion magnate Sir Philip Green to cash in on the convergence between the fashion and fitness industries. They created the company Parkwood TopShop athletic – which will produce a ‘global athletic streetwear brand’ in a 50/50 joint venture.
