Keiser bolsters UK business with double appointment
POSTED 24 Sep 2014 . BY Jak Phillips
Nick Startin (left) and Mark Gregory are welcome additions to the Keiser UK team
Keiser has moved to expand its commercial and sales teams in the UK with the double appointment of Nick Startin and Mark Gregory.

Startin, who becomes commercial director for Keiser UK, boasts more than 35 years’ experience in the fitness industry. He worked as sales director and commercial director for several leading fitness equipment and locker suppliers before setting up his own company supplying procurement solutions to the leisure industry.

Startin’s new role includes analysing and evaluating the existing sales and service operations, with a view to increasing sales coverage in the future. As well as overseeing national accounts, he will seek to create new business opportunities.

Meanwhile, Gregory has been appointed medical and research sales manager. A sports science graduate and sports nutritionist, he combines his academic prowess with more than 10 years’ experience in field sales, focusing most recently on developing new business for spa services provider Steiner Leisure. At Keiser UK, Gregory will focus on developing sales in the medical market as well as on regional sales.

In other news, Colin Averis has been promoted to become UK sales manager. Averis joined Keiser UK in January 2013 and has turned heads with his performance as sales manager for the north of England and Scotland.
