Runner draws ‘penis art’ using Nike+ fitness app
POSTED 07 Aug 2014 . BY Jak Phillips

While many fitness enthusiasts listen to music to keep themselves motivated while running, San Franciscan Claire Wyckoff has a different strategy: she likes to draw penises.

Using the Nike+ fitness app, Wyckoff follows carefully selected running routes to produce impressive map artwork – sometimes of animals or pop culture references – but mainly of phalluses.

Having started in June, her Tumblr page showcasing the artwork has quickly amassed a following and attracted international media coverage.

The copywriter and voiceover artist is yet to comment in the media on her new found fame, but told one fan on Twitter: “I'm seriously honored you like my dick runs. It probably goes without saying, but they're super hard.”

Turning fitness tracking into an art form is not the only recent example of quirky ways to spice up fitness. Last month, EU politicians revealed plans to convert the former Iron Curtain – the historic divider of east and west during the cold war, into a picturesque cycling route.
