The gym has undergone a £300,000 refurbishment with new interior design and new equipment
Nottinghamshire YMCA has officially launched its new £300,000 gym in Nottingham.
The gym has been redeveloped to include new interior design, changing rooms and new cardio equipment from Life Fitness.
Nottinghamshire YMCA focuses on functional fitness and sociable exercise. One of the gym’s new features is the performance space that features a Synrgy360. The Performance space accommodates fast classes for up to 16 people.
To add to the sociable and committed nature of the YMCA gym, a complimentary personal exercise-mentoring programme launching in November offers members a personal trainer or fitness instructor, who is suited to their training interests. The members will then be able to communicate with their mentor via email to receive personalised advice and training tips. The mentors will also organise small group training sessions for their members multiple times per week to allow them to socialise with members with similar interests and work closely with their mentor to achieve their goals.
The spinning studio has also been expanded to accommodate for up to 15 people per session.
