The first kick boxing-based exercise system and personal training qualification, accredited by both the martial arts and fitness industries, is now available.
Former kick boxing world champion, Christian Thomson, has created the Kick Fitness accreditation and says it will enable fitness instructors to lead both group classes and give one on one training.
A range of bodies have endorsed the qualification: Skills active, REPS, Ace, IC reps, Wako and Wka.
“Kick Fitness focuses on endurance, agility, strength and co-ordination. It gives an effective cardio workout and you can also learn new skills and self defence moves, which help build confidence,” says Thomas.
Thomas runs Kick Fitness classes, Kick Fitness holiday retreats and is soon to open HIIT Studios, a high end gym, in Southwark, London.
