The Retention People (TRP) is running an ongoing survey of 10,000 health
and fitness members to discover insights into
developing better products and services.
Working in partnership with Dr Melvyn Hillsdon, TRP is asking the members to complete a survey of their exercise habits and membership behaviour at regular intervals over the coming years.
This process of analysing survey responses from the same members over time, along with trends from retention data from TRP, is intended to give the industry new findings about member behaviour.
The survey is already underway in the UK and participation in the research is initially by invitation only.
TRP will be releasing regular reports throughout each year of the study with initial findings expected to be available for general publication early 2014.
