IMG Worlds of Adventure unveiled at Dubai exhibition
POSTED 12 Jun 2013 . BY Tom Anstey
Plans for the largest temperature-controlled, indoor entertainment destination in the world have been revealed with the unveiling of IMG Worlds of Adventure (IMGWOA) at the annual Arabian Travel Market exhibition in Dubai.

IMGWOA will be more than 1.5m sq ft (139,000sq m) in size and will be split over four themed zones: Marvel, Cartoon Network, The Lost Valley and the IMG Entertainment Zone.

The new attraction was unveiled by Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari (IMG) Group, which said that the giant facility "would allow any thrill-seeker or excited family to access an allure of entertainment."

The theme park will feature an array of as-of-yet unnamed attractions for guests of all ages.

The IMG Entertainment Zone specifically will feature not only rides, but also dining venues, retail outlets, and a selection of interactive entertainment experiences.

Planned additions such as the IMGWOA, which is designed to attract in excess of 20,000 visitors per day, will see tourism in the UAE sector achieve annual growth of 6.5per cent per annum between 2011-2021, according to a recent report by Business Monitor International.
