Independently-owned Crayford Weights and Fitness in Crayford, Kent, will open a new gym extension in May 2012.
First launched in 2010, the club acquired an adjacent unit at the Crayford Retail Park and has appointed supplier Jordan Fitness to equip the space.
The extension will double the space available and its new facilities include a group exercise studio, a ladies-only gym and a group cycling studio as part of plans to attract more female users.
Existing facilities also include an injury clinic, spray tanning and supplements, a therapy room and on-site personal trainers.
Since opening in November 2010, Crayford Weights and Fitness has attracted more than 1,000 members.
Gym manager Sarah Howard said: "We are confident the new Jordan equipment will help attract more female users as members.
"And, the men won't miss out as they are also having free weights including power bags, Olympic training discs and medicine balls in their newly refurbished zones."
Zak Pitt, sales director at Jordan Fitness added: "We've built a strong relationship with Crayford Weights and Fitness since their opening on 2010 and delighted to see that their membership has taken off to such a level that they are now expanding their gym space."
