Reigate and Banstead Borough Council (RBBC) are inviting residents in the Preston area of Tadworth, Surrey, to comment on regeneration proposals that include a new leisure centre.
The local authority is looking to develop a community hub on Merland Rise to incorporate a new facility to replace the existing Banstead Leisure Centre, as well as better youth facilities.
Improvements to open spaces and infrastructure including footpaths and cycleways also form part of the proposals put forward for consultation by RBBC.
RBBC executive member for priority places Natalie Bramhall said: "We want to improve housing for local people, create better, more centralised leisure and community facilities, enhance public spaces and improve access in and around the estate."
The consultation is due to end on 6 January 2012, with an exhibition to take place at Banstead Leisure Centre from 14 November. Views can also be shared via the council's website.
