A number of water-based initiatives are being rolled-out at UK leisure centres as pools look set to become a "major differentiating factors" between budget chains and other facilities.
Health Club Management (July 2011) has taken a look at some of the programmes, which are designed to help operators maximise use of and revenues from pool facilities.
It follows the launch of the Amateur Swimming Association's (ASA) Big Splash campaign in May, which aims to generate a 'Wimbledon effect' for swimming pools in the UK.
