There is just one week of voting left in the Health Club Awards 2011 - and the competition is really heating up.

More than 14,000 members across the UK have already voted for their clubs by completing an online survey rating the service and facilities provided to them.

The unique voting system enables clubs of all shapes and sizes to vie for the title of Best Health Club in the UK.

Clubs will be shortlisted in regions across the country and the regional and national winners will be announced at LIW in September this year.

Simon Brown who runs the awards said: "We're absolutely delighted at the response we've received from clubs and members in the first year of the awards.

"The format of the competition has been a fantastic way to encourage interaction between staff and customers and helped to make teams more aware of their customer service responsibilities."
