Less than 20 per cent of women are doing enough exercise to benefit their health, according to the Women’s Sport and Fitness Foundation (WSFF).
The WSFF also said that girls leave school only half as active as boys. As a result of their findings, the organisation is hosting two events focussing on how to shape and promote physical activity for women and girls.
Practical advice will be given on the following topics: “meeting audience needs”, “hitting the target” and “backing it up”.
The events will be held at Chelsea Football Club in London on 22 March and Manchester United Football Club in Manchester on 25 March.
