Help your clients train progressively with the PowerBlock
02 Oct 2009 . BY Sarah Todd
PowerBlock is one of the leading brands of adjustable-weight dumbbells. Originating from the US, the PowerBlock patented pin system offers the user a safe and effective method of progressive training with just one space-saving pair of dumbbells.

The PowerBlock Sport 9.0 Set is the top model in the Sport Series range. The Sport 9.0 is a component dumbbell system allowing the user to expand the set as their strength training needs change.

The Sport 9.0 Stage I set replaces the need for 16 pairs of traditional dumbbells with weight increments of 1kg-22.5kg per hand. To add more weight, the user can purchase a Stage II kit which is a further set of plates giving the ability to train up to 41kg per hand in an additional 12 weight increments.

Finally, the Sport 9.0 Stage III kit takes the dumbbell system up to a maximum of 59kg per hand in a further 9 weight increments. At this stage III, the Sport 9.0 is replacing the need to have 37 different pairs of traditional dumbbells.

Purchasing the Sport 9.0 over time in these 3 stages is a cost-effective solution for PTs and their clients. In addition to the significant savings, PowerBlock Dumbbells also save a considerable amount of space in the home or PT gym with a footprint of just 46cm x 56cm. All PowerBlock Sports Series models carry a 15-year domestic warranty for home, personal training and supervised-used environments.
