Wrap up with ice

US company Ultimate Ice Wraps has launched their 2009 range of wraps to treat specific body parts and muscle groups.

Consisting of eight wraps, the collection - suitable for use by athletes and exercisers as well as part of a rehabilitation programme - can be used to treat the neck, shoulder, hamstring, ankle, elbow, back (pictured), knee and calf.

The wraps themselves are held in place with Velcro and eliminate the possibility of ice burns and can be worn underneath clothing.

Igloo® Natural Ice® Sheets made from pure water are used within the wraps and are claimed to last longer than gel packs.
