A revolutionary new product created to reduce glass breakages and spillage has been launched by UK-based Continental Chef Supplies.
The Siddle Safe Tray™ was designed by Richard Siddle to reduce the number of breakages caused when serving drinks using a conventional tray, the stems of the glasses hanging beneath the base as opposed to balancing on the top.
The purpose of the tray is to create a simpler method of serving stemmed glasses. As the design actually balances the glasses, the tray improves stability where the ground is uneven or where there may be sudden movement - on a ship, at an outdoor event or on an aircraft for example.
The Siddle Safe Tray is available in two sizes and two finishes - 12 glass in acrylic black or dark wood and 6 glass in acrylic black or dark wood. The trays also have bases - similarly available in acrylic black or dark wood - which are used to line the glasses up.
The tray, which has worldwide design protection, is only available through Continental Chef Supplies which owns the licence for its sale and manufacture.
