Koala’s latest water attraction debuts in Wisconsin
30 Jun 2004 . BY
KoalaPlay Group has designed a nautical themed water attraction for The Great Lakes Companies’ Blue Harbor Resort and Conference centre in Sheboygan, Wis.

The four-storey indoor structure – which opened in June – contains over 12 levels of water-based attractions and features a ship with mast and sails, a lighthouse, hand wheels, flags and life preservers.

A series of transfer bridges, cargo nets and web crawls guide visitors around and they can use nearly 200 interactive water effects en route. These include hydro blasters, a water wheel, spouts, hoses, slides, a lazy river and a spray pool.

Anyone wanting to get really wet can stand beneath the grand mast and enjoy having 1,000 gallons of water dumped on them.

The water features are complemented by soft foam sea creatures, such as a 21ft-long snake, an eight-foot long dragon, a crab and pieces of log.
