Catamaran Cruisers, which operates two riverboat services on the Thames, has announced a rise in profits for both of its brands.
The company reported that, for the six-month period ending March 2004, its Bateaux London restaurant cruises saw a 21 per cent increase in profits, while its Catamaran Cruisers sightseeing service notched up a five per cent rise.
Elaine Seeto, sales director, said: “It is satisfying to see that the affinity marketing partnerships we’ve developed over the past 12 months are coming to fruition and providing us with saleable products and profitable business results.”
In the past year, the company has launched a number of initiatives, including the increased frequency of the sightseeing cruises and new pricing and product enhancements for its Bateaux London brand.
