This year's Leisure Industry Week show will see SportsArt displaying its new energy saving ECO-POWR™ motor.
The new system - an acronym for Extreme Conservation and Output - is incorporated in the SportsArt Xtreme treadmills that will be featuring at the event.
The motor is both maintenance free and self regulating, a brushless drive system that delivers 5.0hp of performance whilst using - according to figures released by the company - up to 32 percent less electricity than industry standard AC & DC motors.
SportsArt calculates that this equates to a possible saving of up to £2000 on electricity in a calendar year for an average fitness facility running 10 treadmills per day, all without a sacrifice in power.
The unique design of the ultra high efficiency AC servo drive unit is such that SportsArt can offer a lifetime warranty on the ECO-POWR motor.
