Capitalizing on Schwinn’s decades of experience and iconic leadership in commercial indoor cycling, Core Health & Fitness announces the arrival of its next generation of indoor cycling bikes – Schwinn X & Z.
Schwinn continues to evolve and set the standard for group cycling experiences. Its inclusive approach to creating a community for beginners and experienced riders alike invites everyone to join the pack and Ride as One.
The Schwinn X & Z bikes take this perspective to the next level by simplifying the user experience while simultaneously expanding instructor possibilities. The bikes were designed with authenticity and inspiration in mind and give instructors the freedom to create tailored classes that make their vision come to life while delivering the authenticity riders demand.
The Schwinn Z Bike uses colour and light to celebrate the diverse styles and strengths of instructors and is the first commercial indoor cycle bike enabled with GymKit to pair with Apple Watch, which can sync data with compatible cardio equipment including indoor bikes and more, providing you with more accurate information about your workout.
The Z Bike makes the science of intensity-based personal Zone training more accessible for broad-based appeal, allowing all fitness levels to Ride As One by personalizing their zones. It also amplifies the magic of music by colorizing pedal speed.
“This bike is a gamechanger,” says Lou Atkinson, Schwinn Lead Master Instructor. “It brings so many new opportunities to connect with your members - every club, every coach and every rider will be blown away by what it can do for them.”
The Schwinn X Bike invites gym members on the cardio floor, hotel guests, and multi-unit housing residents to bring your own experience to support the rapid growth of fitness apps and virtual content. Without a console, it also invites cycling class members to make personal connections distraction-free.
“We went to some of the best indoor cycling coaches in the world – the Schwinn Master Instructor Team – and asked them if they could create the ultimate bike for instructors and riders, what features would it have and why? The X & Z Bikes are the result of that collaboration,” says Becky Muck, Global Education Manager at Core Health & Fitness.
