| Revamped Fitline Maassluis health club equipped by Core Health & Fitness |

An iconic Dutch fitness centre that first opened 32 years ago has received an extensive overhaul following a vicious fire.
Fitline, located in the heart of Maassluis, Netherlands, is now a stunning, modern club that offers members a gym, top of the range fitness equipment, a yoga studio, wellness spa and café and lounge.
Located on the historic site of an old herring building, the property suffered extensive fire damage in 2018 and has been under construction for the last three years.
The gym itself is home to top of the range fitness equipment from Core Health & Fitness’ iconic brands Star Trac cardio equipment including eight series embedded screens, StairMaster HIIT circuit, Nautilus Impact, Instinct, Leverage, Plate loaded and HumanSport, as well as the Throwdown Rig for functional fitness.
Cees Van Toor, owner of Fitline comments: “Our vision was to create a club that offers total body and mind wellness. Fitline has something for everyone – we offer our members top of the range cardio where our runners can choose to run the streets of New York (virtually) or catch up on their favorite Netflix show.
“As well as take part in interval training or running with a virtual coach to help improve running technique, we have HIIT specific equipment for a hardcore HIIT workout such as our StairMaster Gauntlet, HIIT UBE or our HIIT bike.
‘“In our strength area we have a number of different fixed resistance machines including our Nautilus Impact and Instinct lines chosen for it’s biomechanics – it gets really efficient results with little effort, plus we have our HumanSport line which offers total body training and is wheelchair user friendly.
“For our yoga fans we have a new yoga studio offering a number of different classes, our wellness spa has a sauna and steamroom for both sexes and we have a lounge for members to get together and grab a bite.
“We wanted Fitline to appeal and to welcome everyone of all ages and we have absolutely achieved that”.
The club’s class schedule consists of group classes for members including ClubJoy Power & Fit & Shape, Booty, Spinning, Zumba and HumanSport – a group ex class based around functional strength. Memberships start from €8.99 a week with three different options available.
