Gympass bridges the gap between health club operators and the corporate workforce
Gympass and Everyone Active partnership brings success
The Gympass mission is to defeat inactivity – a vision shared by many in the leisure industry. It aims to do this by targeting those in corporate workforces who don’t currently exercise or use a gym.
The leisure industry knows this huge potential audience exists but historically has struggled to make contacts or have meaningful conversations with corporate partners.
Gympass successfully bridges that gap: bringing together corporates and leisure operators resulting in fitness facilities enjoying a significantly increased footfall.
Everyone Active is one such operator that is seeing increased footfall and engagement through its Gympass partnership. Initially it trialled Gympass at 68 of its sites in the South East region. Within five months Everyone Active saw several hundred Gympass members come through its doors and chose to extend the partnership to include all its centres.
Recognising that the primary target audience is not already engaged in activity and will need encouragement and support to make that choice, Gympass coordinates activation plans within workplaces to offer advice, encouragement and even taster workouts.
Bringing these opportunities and ideas to the office door, Gympass and its fitness partners can answer employees’ questions and build their interest and confidence around the opportunity to be more active. For many, this first fitness conversation is a vital first step to trying physical activity for the first time.
