The Hoist Access Trainer has won Inclusive Fitness Initiative accreditation.
The English Federation of Disability Sport’s IFI scheme is a Sport England lottery funded project and, amongst other things, it certifies fitness equipment that provides for both disabled and non-disabled people.
Hoist has made modifications to its Access Trainer – a multifunctional chest press and lateral pulldown – to ensure that it meets the needs of both groups, enhancements including a 40 per cent larger seat, longer cables for the overhead pulley for easy use from a wheelchair, raised numbers on weight stacks for Braille users and the ability to use it single handed.
The Trainer is part of a wider range of Hoist equipment available from Physique, the company’s UK distributor.
