In the summer of 1992, Westbury Fields in Bristol hosted what was thought to be its last ever cricket match.
However, sports equipment company, Tildenet, has teamed up with a local housing charity to create a new cricket ground, with the new houses overlooking the new square.
To protect the residents from stray cricket balls without spoiling the look of the ground, Tildenet has installed a discreet fence from its range of sports fencing systems.
These are available as either a DIY kit or fully installed and 25mm diamond mesh ball stop is supplied as standard.
The DIY kit comes with net, fittings and instructions, whilst the installed version includes an initial site survey, design, supply of materials and supervision of the installation.
In addition to cricket, specific nets are available for golf, football, rugby, hockey and tennis.
