Hyperthermia is one of the most common serious problems faced by runners and Hydro-Sport has come up with a neat idea for rehydration on the run.
Eliminating the need to carry cumbersome water bottles, each HydroSport holds 5oz. of water or sports drink, has a pull top and is strapped on to the wrist.
Each HydroSport weighs 8oz., ideal for running without stress on the joints. When they are filled with cold water, the device cools the wrists and can keep a user from overheating. They can also be frozen.
Available in neon green, pearl, purple, pink or blue, HydroSport comes in both adult and child sizes and can be imprinted with a name or logo.
Although developed for runners, it can also be used by bikers, skaters, walkers and rollerbladers, etc.
The American College of Sports Medicine recommends drinking 8-10oz. of water before a workout, 8oz. during and up to 16oz. after a workout.
