The UK Government’s chief medical officer, Professor Dame Sally Davies, will be a keynote speaker at the Elevate Thought Leaders’ conference, 8-9 May at ExCeL London.
The free-to-attend conference is a feature of the Elevate exhibition and will debate the major issues impacting the fitness, health and sporting world.
Dame Sally will lead discussion to inspire bigger picture thinking to unleash the full power of the physical activity sector as a force for good in society. She follows other industry leaders who have delivered thought-provoking speeches at the annual conference, including former Sports Minister, Tracey Crouch and Sir Muir Gray CBE.
Joining Dame Sally at the Thought Leaders’ Conference will be CIMSPA CEO, Tara Dillon, the Invictus Games Team UK captain, Mark Perkins, Public Health Physical Activity champion, Dr Zoe Williams, Sport England CEO, Tim Hollingsworth, UK Sport CEO, Liz Nicholls and national lead for Physical Activity at Public Health England, Dr Mike Brannan.
