| New gym has biggest free weights area in Wales |

A former Commonwealth weightlifting champion has opened a new gym in Aberdare, which includes the biggest free weights area in Wales.
Breeze’s Gym, opened by Michaela Breeze and Sinead Kelly, includes a full exercise class programme, fully equipped gym, online personal support programme and women’s only weights resistance area.
Breeze retired from her 18-year international weightlifting career in 2010 and was awarded an MBE in 2011 for her sporting achievements.
She is also qualified as a sports massage therapist who has worked with elite athletes including diver Tom Daley in the lead up to London 2012.
Breeze and Kelly co-founded the gym last year as an outlet for their passion for sport and to provide a place to improve the health, fitness and wellbeing of the local community.
The gym, which opened in mid-December, also provides opportunities for developing sporting excellence.
