New gym extension opens at Jesmond pool

Jesmond Swimming Pool, a community managed pool in Newcastle Upon Tyne, has opened a £250,000 extension featuring a new health and fitness suite and treatment rooms.

Built alongside the pool hall, the new extension provides an additional 30 exercise stations supplied by Precor and a functional training zone.

The centre is managed and operated by charitable trust Jesmond Community Leisure.
